Universally Disappointing

Universal Restaurant has been on my list for a while, having heard about and salivating over the famed “gaytime goes nuts” dessert. And I was excited when, as a belated birthday gift, invited to Universal Restaurant in Darlinghurst. However, the title of this review reflects my experience.

Before I start, the title is not only to describe one of my best friend’s from exchange Solveig who was a joint reviewer on my foray into Mr and Mrs. Bund. The title is to describe the restaurant itself, a fine dining establishment specialising in late-night dining, located in the heart of Asia’s new preeminent financial hub.
